Mário Diniz (PhD) is an Associate Professor in Biochemistry at FCT NOVA and a Principal Investigator at UCIBIO. Since 2015, he has been the Head of the BioTox Research Laboratory, where he leads a scientific team focused on Environmental Sciences and Toxicology. With a career spanning several prestigious institutions—including the University of Lorraine (FR) and INETI (PT)—He has contributed to the scientific community through 190+ publications and over 300 conference presentations. An educator at heart, he has lectured curricula across BSc MSc, and PhD programs in Portugal and Spain, bridging the gap between molecular toxicology and societal progress.
