O Portal do docente é uma ferramenta de apoio que permite a cada Professor da FCT NOVA criar autonomamente a sua página pessoal e aí inserir o seu curriculum, divulgar artigos científicos, apresentar as disciplinas leccionadas, partilhar feeds, etc.
Starting in 2013, The PADTAD Workshop Series will be merged with the MSEPT Conference to become the MUSEPAT Conference. MUSEPAT 2013, the International Conference on Multicore Software Engineering, Performance, and Tools, will be co-located with ESEC/FSE 2013 in Saint Petersburg, Russia on August 21, 2012.

Last Friday, Oct 26th, my student Tiago Vale defnended his MSc thesis in Computer Science, and was awarded with the highest possible final grade (20 points). I am really proud of both, Tiago and Ricardo Dias, whose contribution to the technical and scientific advising of Tiago was a key contribution to this success.

Our paper "Precise Detection of Atomicity Violations", co-authored by my ex-MSc Student Vasco Pessanha, my PhD student Ricardo Dias, and myslef, was accepted at the Haifa Verification Conference (HVC 2012).
The base of the paper is the MSc work of Vasco, which was (unofficially) co-supervised by Ricardo and (officially) me. We developed a new approach to find high-level dataraces in concurrent programs.
