I help design systems that improve how people and organisations decide, act and learn in complex environments. With a foundation in Control and Decision Engineering, I work on the meeting point between structured methods, human judgment and intelligent technology. My focus is on human-in-the-loop decision systems: approaches where AI and digital tools support sense-making, reflection and action, while keeping people in control. My work spans academia, applied innovation, entrepreneurship and coaching. I develop models, methodologies and platforms that turn complexity into clearer decisions, better processes and more sustainable change. This includes decision support, modelling and simulation, contextual knowledge systems, AI-assisted coaching, and socio-technical system design. I am especially interested in creating practical impact, building tools and approaches that are rigorous enough for engineering, but flexible enough for real life.
