Daniel Alejandro Raydan was born in 1994, obtained his undergraduate 5 years degree in chemistry, which he finished (CUM LAUDE) at Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela, in November 2016. He started his graduate studies in Organic Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen in August 2017, which he finished in September 2019 (two years Master studies). For his Master Thesis he worked in Carbohydrate Chemistry under the supervision of Professor Christian Marcus Pedersen involved in a project entitled “Synthesis of carbohydrate-based molecules with amphiphilic potential due to metal binding”. In 2020 he joined the Marques group to pursue his Ph.D studies.
