Rosa Miranda got her Engineering degree in Metallurgical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon Technical University in 1981 and her PhD degree at the same University in 1996. In 2009 got her Habilitation at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, at Nova University of Lisbon.

She is currently Associate Professor with Habilitation in Mechanical Engineering (Industrial Technology Group) http://www.demi.fct.unl.pt/departamento
