I am a retired Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon, and a Senior Researcher at the NOVA Math Center.

My research interests include combinatorial optimization, graph theory, computational complexity, mathematical modelling, and conservation biology.
