Prof. Hugo Águas is Assistant Professor at the Materiais Science Department of Faculty of Science and Technology of New University of Lisbon and researcher at CENIMAT:I3N.
He finished his PhD in 2005 with the thesis: “Deposition of amorphous and polymorphous silicon by PECVD and their application to Schottky and MIS photodiodes for position sensitive detectors”. His current research interests are in the field of thin film photovoltaic materials; solar tiles; microfluidics; microfabrication; nanomaterials; plasmonic materials, SERS and biosensors. He has more than 130 published papers on international journals, and International Conference Proceedings.
