With a relatively small yet powerful and steady customer base, the “old” WMOSS has been advanced up to version 2.5 (DOS/DBOS based) and very recently to version 3.09 (XP compatible — very important step — but still containing proprietary libraries) as a serious alternative to other commercial or academic packages. In recent years SEECO placed WMOSS in Public Domain to advance its development.
