Francisco Costa have conducted his Master thesis on stegosaurs from Lourinhã Formation, at FCT-UNL Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia - Universidade Nova de Lisboa + Universidade de Évora, with the collaboration of LNEG and Museu da Lourinhã.

MSc in Paleontology. Topic: “The stegosaurian dinosaur Miragaia longicollum from the Late Jurassic of Portugal, with the description and comparisons of a new specimen”, approved with highest grade 20/20. Defense on November 22, 2017.
