Postgraduate Diploma in Façade Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering of Faculty of Science and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa has launched a 6 months Postgraduate Course Diploma in Façade Engineering. 

The Postgraduate Diploma in Façade Engineering is a part-time programme that focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of building façade design of topics such as energy and comfort, protection and maintenance and sustainability, tecnology and innovation. It responds to a palpable need for greater understanding of the multi-functional nature of the building envelope and the need for holistic design of façades.

Key facts:

  • Students attend lectures on one evening (Friday) and one full day (Saturday) over the course of the academic year and occasional tutorials. Students also attend scheduled seminars and international workshops;
  • Commencing January;
  • Students will graduate with a FCT-UNL award diploma. This Postgraduate Diploma has 20 ECTS
  • Prospective students should have an undergraduate degree (pre-Bologna or post-Bologna) or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Architecture.
